Consortium of Emilia-Romagna born to promote the sustainable growth of the region through the development of innovation, knowledge, attractiveness and the internationalisation of the territory.

ART-ER - Attrattività Ricerca Territorio (Attractiveness Research Territory) is the  ART-ER contributes to the birth of new business initiatives by proposing an offer of services aimed at start-ups. ART-ER also participates in the European debate on the topic of business creation, through some European projects which represent an opportunity for the exchange of good practices and offer companies the possibility of transnational exchanges.

ACTIVITIES

  • Coordination and development of the regional ecosystem of innovation and knowledge (High Technology Network, Tecnopoli, Clust-ER, AREAS S3), support for start-ups and business creation;
  • Sustainable territorial development, internationalisation, attractiveness and promotion of investments in Emilia-Romagna;
  • Promotion of competitiveness and development of the production system and of skills focussed towards environmental sustainability, through infrastructural and social innovation actions;
  • Qualification of production and territory systems, also through promotion;
  • Support to member activities in the following areas: 1.planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of strategic projects and programs; 2. participation and development of national, European and international networks; 3. studies and research on territorial, economic and social assets; 4. design, construction and management of infrastructures for regional development.
  • Organization of the Start Cup of the Emilia-Romagna Region: born in 2000 as a competition organised by the University of Bologna, Start Cup became in the following years the business plan competition of the Research Centres and of the Universities of Emilia-Romagna, with the aim of promoting the creation of new businesses with high innovative content.
