CoolTour is a cultural cooperative of twelve members supporting the cultural sector through the promotion of the rich historical and artistic heritage of its territory. Thanks to its numerous professional skills and personalities, it offers original and comprehensive services in the field. The team, made up of art historians, medieval historians, architects, tourist guides, restorers and conservators, all trained in the humanities, is involved in museum management and education and in setting up exhibitions and museums; it offers guided tours, organises events and initiatives for the promotion of historical and artistic heritage and also helps with its maintenance and conservation over time; it also provides environmental and heritage education, thanks to the funny and creative educators who liven up the days and weekends of many children from all over Italy.
SPECIAL PROJECT 2020
The project intends to move on a digital platform the activities that were carried out in person until the end of February: guided tours to cities, museums and places of historical and artistic interest; educational workshops for schools; lectures and conferences on art and local history; organisation of cultural events. The idea is to help people discover art and culture by means of virtual tours, online insights and remote learning workshops, using the most advanced technology and interactive platforms. After one month of disorientation, we immediately began considering a technological evolution towards digital technology, with an "attempt" to organize the first virtual guided tours, which immediately gave us great satisfaction and contributed to an exponential increase in the number of followers. Thanks to this project, the team had the fantastic opportunity to acquire new skills and capabilities, seizing the challenge posed by the renewal and becoming more proactive within the company.
