A cable is a physical object that encloses something immaterial: a bundle of multi-strand conductors, technically called “cores”, covered by a layer of insulating material.
Such is a human being: a conductor of energy, a bundle of thoughts, feelings and emotions. And like a cable, also a human being is an energy conductor.
ELECKTRO-CHIC consists of a collection of accessories of design, self-produced and in a limited series, made with electrical components by way of a conscious and ethical craftsmanship of high quality.
The designer Erika Morri, thanks to an innovative artisan technique, has raised the electric cable to a form of beauty, re-interpreting the history of fashion in a futuristic way and taking inspiration from what was worn by strong women of the past.
New three-dimensional physical structures that link the concept of inner energy to electrical energy, “conceptual” jewels in search of the balance between reason and emotion, between male and female, between past and future.
You don’t wear a simple jewel, but an idea.
ACTIVITIES
The ELECKTRO-CHIC collection reinterprets the essence of a simple, everyday material, such as the electric cable, revolutionizing its appearance and turning it into an expression of beauty and creativity.
The same creation, in fact, can be worn in multiple ways, a necklace becomes… a cartridge belt… a belt… a neckband of the 16th century…
ELECKTRO-CHIC is the sheer pleasure of expressing oneself, of deciding if and which threads to uncover, which links to connect, which switches to turn on or off, what worlds to put into communication with each other.
Even the packaging is not to be overlooked: a junction box wrapping in an organza ribbon…
