Graphic News – Pequod

Pequod is a cooperative offering solutions and contents for web communication and digital editing.
It was established in 2014, by winning the Culturability call of the Unipolis foundation, addressed at young creative Italian businesses.
Pequod members share a deep professional interest in communication (specifically in the expressive forms of video, drawing and comics) and in journalism, literature and new online languages: some in the form of writing, some in the form of drawing, and others in the forms of graphic design, digital animation and the world of social media.
Pequod aims to promote discussion and participation on the topic of online information, gathering and connecting a large number of international designers.

ACTIVITIES
Graphic news is the native digital comic portal of information and research, developed by Pequod in collaboration with the Mirada Association of Ravenna.
The challenge is to recount the complexity of our reality through the tools of illustration and graphic journalism, experimenting new ways of story-telling with the authors and creating a unique and effective reading experience through the internet.
The portal is supported by other services: development of communication products from print to video animation, training activities and services for public and private bodies, newspaper and publishing houses.
