Tempus Fugit Percussion

Tempus Fugit Percussion, APS and Ensemble di Percussioni di Piacenza, have created the innovative “Tempus Fugit” Percussion School, with the goal of sharing their musical, didactic and research experiences.

ACTIVITIES
October 2019 saw the birth of Tempus Fugit Percussion APS, an association based in Piacenza whose articles of association embrace the goals of promoting musical culture and training as a social, aggregative and formative tool at every level, focusing on music that involves the immense family of percussion instruments.
Tempus Fugit Percussion APS also organizes events such as concerts, lesson-concerts, performances, talks, training meetings and all other initiatives worthwhile for the dissemination of the existing artistic and musical heritage.

One of the purposes of the association is to encourage the creativity of today’s artists, including the use of new technologies, as well as to promote research in the musical field through the study, analysis and collective in-depth examination, not only of single musical compositions, but also of technical, cultural and social problems linked to musical questions.

The “Tempus Fugit” Percussion School was created as part of the association’s social activities, with the aim of transmitting the didactic, musical and research experience of the members of the Tempus Fugit ensemble. For the 2021/2022 academic year, the “Tempus Fugit” Percussion School has been recognized by the Region of Emilia-Romagna as a school of music.
