ERVET, Emilia-Romagna Valorizzazione Economica Territorio SpA, is an “in-house” company in the Emilia-Romagna Region operating as a
territorial development agency in support of the Regional administration. The company, of which the Emilia-Romagna Region is the majority shareholder, works with established regional plans and programmes, enhances cooperation between the Region and local authorities as well as various economic and social partners, and supports the implementation of coordinated actions to promote the
sustainable development and
economic qualification of the regional territory.
ACTIVITIES
- Implementation of territorial development programmes; technical assistance to the regional administration, promotion and coordination of territorial development initiatives implemented by local authorities.
- Management of the Region’s activities in European Union institutions, including cooperation with other Italian and European Regions.
- Technical support for projects promoted by EU and national funds supporting cohesion and cooperation development policies, as well as for other programmes addressing innovation.
- Development of actions to promote investments in the regional territory, including foreign investment.
- Technical support for regional public administrations and local authorities concerning participation in planning or investment initiatives.
- Quality enhancement in the management of public procurement procedures by the Emilia-Romagna Region and local administrations; training activities for public operators involved in contract management.
- Scientific-technical support for the identification, implementation and monitoring of regional policies; support for the management of observatories established by the Region, and for coordination with those established by other regional institutions.
