Sixth edition winner
River Life is a non-profit organization for the promotion of culture and the territory that works in Rivergaro (Piacenza). About 30 young volunteers collaborate with professionals and institutions: their mission is to promote the territory of Val Trebbia by organizing cultural events of national significance. In the last years, River Life stood out especially for the organization of three annual events that attracted over 40,000 people, drawing their attention to the sights that Val Trebbia may offer.
ACTIVITIES
The project WelcHome intends to create a gathering and co-working centre open all year long, where people may spend time in play and educational activities and workshops of different kind in a single place. All this will be hosted in a magnificent building of the territory, disused for more than forty years: the old school in Ancarano di Rivergaro. This will become not only an educational centre but also a meeting place and a point of reference for people of different generations, where the real heart is music, intended as an opportunity of meeting and sharing.
