Web Radio Giardino

Sixth edition winner 

Web Radio Giardino was created by a heterogeneous and multicultural group, mainly people under the age of 35, who developed and manage the project. The aim is to collect stories in the territory, always extending the network of contacts and collaborations, to give a voice to those who want to become an integral and active part of the town cultural fabric. Web Radio Giardino includes music, cultural and world culture programmes, deepens the most important news items of the week thanks to the collaboration with the international editorial staff and, in general, reads the town through different eyes. The key words that inspire the association are: territory and creativity, knowledge and self-promotion, equality and rights, freedom and passion.

ACTIVITIES

In addition to the varied programme schedule, Web Radio Giardino organizes periodical courses and workshops aimed at improving the skills of both its speakers and technicians. The training activities, carried out in an informal environment of cultural growth, reward juvenile self-promotion and offer a proposal rich in practical experiences: free use of the recording room, organization and documentation of cultural and social inclusion events and other activities. The idea is to give work opportunities in the communication field in general, but especially within the same Web Radio Giardino’s project.
