Smell – Olfactory Festival is an
event dedicated to the culture of smell and the art of perfumery.
Francesca Faruolo is the creator and director of Smell Festival project and of related initiatives, from “Smell – Atelier of Olfactory Arts” to Smell Magazine and most recently “OSA! Outsider Scents Award”. She is involved in the culture of smell and the art of perfumery, promoting events, holding courses and conferences and acting as the curator of artistic events and editorial projects in the olfactory sphere and in the world of perfumery.
Giuseppe Caruso plays a key role in the organization of all activities related to Smell Festival. He also dedicates his time to the composition of fragrances for some of the Festival’s productions and co-productions, ranging from theatrical events to olfactory installations.
Veronica Faruolo is a strategic consultant and provides support concerning foreign public relations.
ACTIVITIES
The Orablu association promotes Smell - Festival dell’olfatto and Smell Atelier di arti olfattive and provides consultancy services for the development of creative ideas.
Smell Festival and Smell Atelier activities concern cultural services, events and training and are closely related to the worlds of luxury goods, cosmetics, design, fashion and art.
The support provided by Orablu focuses on four main topics that proved crucial during their own first seven years of activity
- how to find your own place: positioning and niche marketing
- how to transmit your values: coherence, communication, image
- how to find allies and sponsors; fundraising
- olfactory communication and fragrance design.
