#WCAP is a
corporate accelerator of TIM that selects, funds and speeds up the best start-ups of the digital industry. #WCAP is part of the Open Innovation Programme of the company.
The 4 accelerators are based in Milan, Bologna, Rome, Catania and provide 4.000 mq dedicated to innovation.
Through the
Call for Start-ups every year
digital start-ups are selected, which have access to the
Digital Innovation Year. Since 2014, TIM #WCAP Bologna has already assigned 27 Grants for enterprises.
ACTIVITIES:
The start-ups participating in the Digital Innovation Year can take advantage of three months of acceleration in one of the 4 accelerators as well as 9 months of mentorship and co-working. After being introduced, start-ups are guided by qualified tutors and mentors in a programme focused on the growth of the project, both from a technical and business point of view.
Space will be dedicated in the classroom to business issues and there will be opportunities for discussion and individual mentorship, with a programme designed for learning: from how to make a pitch to how to launch a product on the market. The Digital Innovation Year will not lack networking events organized to foster dialogue with successful start-uppers, entrepreneurs, Business Angels and Venture Capitals.
