Silvia Bonzio – Project: FIORE

FIORE (“flower”) is an extremely simple project that resumes a vehicle used in the early post-war years: the cargo bike, which was a cheap and practical vehicle for small deliveries. The cargo bike should be revalued, because it is a sustainable and efficient means of transport evoking a past that should be remembered, and also because of the latest commercial trend towards a shorter chain of goods delivery in the city.

FIORE’s business idea aims at returning to use the tricycle in order to sell different kinds of products, including foodstuffs but not only.

As a start-up, FIORE decided to start selling cut flowers and decorations, taking advantage of the previous expertise in the field of floral design.
